On Thursday’s Paul Vandenburgh show Schenectady County’s DA Bob Carney dropped in to our downtown studios at the TUC to talk about the Steven Raucci case. If you missed the clips we had it on the “Best of the Burgh” – our nightly recap of Paul’s show at 6:30pm. In today’s Times Union (front page) Ryan Hutchins captures the conversation Paul had with DA Carney too.

Your TALK 1300 team has an interesting mixture of TV favorites. Mike Carey, Chris Lynch, and I have no problem locking into an episode of Spongebob. Mike went on to favor Family Guy - Lynch and I would agree. Mike and I both agree that it’s troubling to see Family Guy in the top 5 with very young people. That show (Family Guy) is not for an 8 year old. The boss won’t miss Roadhouse (staring Patrick Swayze)… the movie is just awful but I’ll watch it too.
Well we know where you are according to the Daily Gazette & Kathleen Moore. Paul is having a field day with the Dwayne Johnson story. While on the job … Schenectady’s highest paid “copper” who, as the Gazette article reads, “spends most Tuesday early mornings in an apartment at the corner of Queen Philomena Blvd. and Sir Benjamin Way..” It was hard for Paul to get through the story without laughing.
