In total we expect to swim at least 7 miles each over the course of the time period. The event is sponsored by the NFL Alumni and funds raised will go to support a number of local organizations that work with children with mental health issues. For a variety of reasons, this cause is very important to me. I have set a personal goal of raising $500 and need your help in reaching that goal. Donations/pledges in any denomination are helpful. All donations are 100% tax deductible and I will personally provide a receipt for all donations and contributions greater than $250 will be provided with a written receipt from the Chapter.  If you would be willing to donate, I would greatly appreciate it. I have listed the information on where to send the donations below, and if you are able, please let me know and I will add you to my list. Please email me with any questions! angelar@talk1300.com

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Canned goods
  • Baby food
  • Diapers
  • Sample-size toiletries

Once we gather all of these items, we can deliver them directly at the United Way they will see that they get into the proper hands at the disaster relief agencies.
