I rarely do.

I was in a small store one day and a young boy was screaming his head off. He had a temper tantrum. His mother was trying to clam him. He turned around and slugged her in the stomach. She did nothing

I looked at the boy and his mother...and said,"Don't hit your mother like that". The mother and boy then left.

The shop keeper said to me after they left, "I'm glad you said something. It was getting out of hand".

One wonders if this boy will mistreat all women this way when he become an adult. No boundies have been sent as to proper behavior toward his mother...let alone other adults.

They keyword is 'discipline' and the answer is no. If I had problems with other people's children, I sent them home where them belonged and they weren't welcomed back unless they behaved.
