  1. colonietaxpayer says:

Would they consider selling Town Hall to Siena College in order to reduce the deficit?

  2. Bill Pezz says:

    Please ask Paula Mahan:
Our taxes were raised by her to pay for Mary Brizzel’s mistake. Why? and was it just for last year? will it go back dow? also ask both: Why do Colonie residents have to pay taxes with all the busnisess on Wof Rd and Central Ave anyway? We should have very little tax to pay.
    Thank You Bill P Colonie

  3. Bill says:

At the beginning of the present administration term, a scandal was uncovered about County waste. THe Dollar amounts alone would eliminate the present deficit. Why have we not hear another word about the investigation, and 18 months later, were is the investigation?

  4. John Rigione says:

I am frequent listener of the the Vandenburgh show. As a Colonie resident, I was really impressed with Mike Hoblock and his view for our Town.

Thank you Paul Vandenburgh for assisting voters this year in learning about the candidates. \

In my opinion, the choice is clear in Colonie that is why I am voting for Mike Hoblock!

  5. Evie Murray says:

I went to Town hall to view both your financial disclosure statements and only Paula Mahan’s was on file. Why?

  6. Pat Murphy says:

Paul and Melody — I just wanted to complement you both on the job you did this morning on the interviews with Paula Mahan and Mike Hoblock. I wasn’t able to go the the debate, so this was very informative. I think it shed some light on the fiscal issues in the Town. If you’re interested in opinions from listeners, I think Mike seems more qualified and I iked what e had to say. The Town still has financial problems. I appreciate that Paula isn’t increasing our taxes this year, but given our problems, it seems like a political gesture and we know we will pay for it next year. Plus, my guess is the Moody’s won’t like this budget and we’ll end up paying more with another downgrade in our bond rating. Paula’s approach is not disciplined.
