We took a ride over to Jiminy Peak in the Berkshires a few weeks ago. They run the chairlift up to the top of the mountain to see the foliage ($9) for the ride and you can walk around at the top (grab an adult beverage if you like too). Another great weekend quick trip idea for you.
If a Sunday drive is what you desire…try ole’ 32. I enjoyed the ride, no traffic, good leaf colors.. and I think you might too. Better yet, share with all the favorite road around here you like to take for a few hours.
If you thought it cost you (Joe/Josephine Q. Taxpayer) an arm & a leg for Obama, security, limos and the rest of the stuff that goes with a Presidential visit to the Capital Region… just imagine what it cost you to send the President to pick up his big, fat ”NO” to the Olympics.
