You Might be a Conservative if ….  You want your children to believe that their self worth comes from within themselves and not from others.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You want your children to believe that their self worth can be damaged by anything someone else says or does, and therefore the activities and statements of others should be closely monitored by the authorities, as long as the right people are in charge.

You Might be a Conservative if ….  You aren’t afraid to let your kids lose because you know they can sometimes learn more from losing than from winning.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You believe that only losers lose, and since all kids are trying hard and are above average there is really no reason to keep score, accept to make sure some kids don’t score too much and to make sure your kids have what you want them to have.

You Might be a Conservative if ….  You want everyone you care about to know you value and respect them even when you disagree with them.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You want everyone you care about to know how much they should value and respect you, especially when you are patiently trying to shown them how they are wrong.

You Might be a Conservative if ….  You know that CHANGE is inevitable, only positive change is progress, and changing what has proven to work is stupid.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You know that CHANGE feels good to you sometimes, especially when it gives you something you didn’t have before and you don’t have to pay for it.

You Might be a Conservative if ….  You have no hidden agenda or unstated priorities.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You would tell people what your real agenda and priorities are, but out of sensitivity to their ignorance and in order to give them what you think is good for them as quickly as possible, you are going to skip the step of informing them.

You Might be a Conservative if ….  You understand that a bump in the road doesn’t mean you have to panic and change roads, and you know you can fix the road without tearing apart the entire road.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You understand that a bump in the road got there because of the reckless, irresponsible driving of an SUV owner, probably a black SUV with the air conditioning running full blast, and when the government is done tearing up the road to put in a new, environmentally friendly pedestrian walkway that racist redneck in the SUV can just go to hell.

You Might be a Conservative if ….  You understand that business and government are different species, and when you attempt to interbreed them you will usually get mutant, unintended, inefficient and unproductive consequences.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You understand that business and government are different species, and if government was just put in charge of all businesses then the public employee unions could negotiate really big raises and more jobs for everybody, and then there would be no more poverty, and that would show those greedy business owners.

You Might be a Conservative if ….  You want the truth, not emotional candy, when you have to make tough decisions.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You believe that if the words feel good and sound good, then decisions are really easy to make, especially since your department has enough grant money to fund the decision for the next nine months.

You Might be a Conservative if ….  You believe the government’s role is to enforce the rules of the game, not pick the winners and losers.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You believe the government’s role is to create outcomes you find appealing based upon your superior ability to perceive who deserves to win and who deserves to lose.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You believe style is the most important level of substance.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You believe a momentary good feeling creates value regardless of the long-term implications, especially since the ability to help generate that feeling gives you more authority and more ability to manipulate others.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You think the “I Have a Dream” speech is a great tool for manipulating people’s emotions which you gives you the opportunity to slip them their first taste of the addictive entitlement mentality you are purveying for your benefit and the expansion of your power and authority.

You Might be a Conservative if ….  You think politics should be about empowering every individual with the opportunity to strive toward their dream for themselves and their family.

You might be a Liberal if ….  You think politics should be about consolidating your power and authority and giving you the opportunity to compel others to reach only for opportunities you have pre-approved for them because they are mostly too stupid to make such decisions without your guidance.
