St Peter’s was  named Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by American College of Radiation – only one in Tech Valley to receive this award.  Cancer begins when a cell begins to divide uncontrollably.    Before you begin to research your cancer – you need to know:

Medical name, stage of cancer, grade and other prognosis factors.

There are three kinds: Carcinoma, Adenocarcinoma and Sarcoma

 

Self breast exams are not just for women, men should be doing them also!  80% of all breast cancer happens after the age of 50!

 

 

Additional info

Did you know in 1998 – there were 171,500 new cases of lung cancer diagnosed?  Since 1987 more women have died each year of lung cancer than breast cancer.
