I started doing intervals last week. My weight hit a plateau the week before and so Bryan decided to have me begin doing interval work. I started with 4 minutes of very fast walking – with 1 minute of fast running (at a very small incline) for 40 minutes total. I have now dropped it down to 3 and 1 and my weight has started dropping again. This week I will also start training double sessions. I did my first double session today – and so far so good. I trained with Bryan in the morning and did 20 minutes of the intervals after the training, then I went back tonight and did another 40 minutes of the intervals. Tomorrow morning I have bootcamp and I will do the same with the intervals.
Bootcamp is still going great – it is getting more intense each week – but everyone is so supportive and encouraging of one another that I feel like the time flies. I am hoping to take some photos at bootcamp soon so that everyone can see what we do. Also, Bryan is going to schedule another session – and I plan on being there – if you are interested check out Bryan’s website!
My training sessions are going fantastic – Bryan changes the routine on a regular basis and today he had a new piece of equipment that I tried. They are gliding discs (they kind of look like Frisbees but are flat) and you can do a variety of exercises with them including traveling planks, mountain climbers and more. They definitely added a new dimension to my workout. I still look forward to all my workouts and continue to stay motivated– which is very important.

As always – let us know how you think I am doing…

Kudos Angela,
It is so inspiring to hear of your progress with your weight loss journey. I know how hard it is. The last time I saw you, you looked great. I have also started my own method of personal bootcamp. I swim everyday (when it does not rain), and I have noticed my legs shrinking a little (unless it is wishful thinking). I can’t wait to see more pictures of your progress. Keep up the good work.
Angela,
Look forward to seeing you at the next boot camp. Your spirit, determination and humor are really an inspiration. You look great.
See you next week.
