A great show today with Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce.

We discussed the 8th Annual Summer Social to benefit Dress for Success.  The “social” is produced by the Women’s Business Council of the Albany Colonie Chamber.  The Summer Social is August 12 starting at 5pm – $34 at the River Stone Manor.  This is an important fundraiser for Dress for Success which is a project of the Albany Community Action Partnership.   Michelle Bowen is the Director of Marketing & Development and explained how they have helped 90+ women get business attire, help with resumes and interviewing skills to get back on track!  Leslie Ellis and Tamara Slater co-chair the Summer Social and invite you to attend.

Also on today’s program we visited with Alyssa Dion, Director of Sales, Saratoga Gaming & Raceway.  Alyssa will oversee the next Business to Business networking event at Vapor inside SG&R.  This is a joint event with the Chamber of Schenectady County.
