Today was the first day of Bryan’s “Beach Body Bootcamp Class”. As I mentioned in my previous postings, Bryan decided that this would be an excellent addition to my current workout and on Monday, I even had a little preview of the class, as Bryan decided to use me as his “guinea pig” and had me do a run through with him.
But this morning, at 6am sharp, the group embarked on our first day of bootcamp. The class begins on the front steps of 54 State Street, the building in which The Omni Fitness Center is located, which is where the 10 or so of us gathered this morning. Some were more awake than others, with me being one of those still half asleep, (as many of you know from listening to Paul, I tend to work strange hours – so getting up that early is not the norm), but everyone was excited and looking forward to the experience. From 54 State, we set off in a jog to the Riverfront Walkway. Once we arrived at the foot of the steps to the walkway, Bryan explained a series of exercises that would start us off, and we got moving! Bryan kept us moving by changing exercises and locations, so the class seemed to go by a good pace which kept the group motivated. Bryan encouraged us all to set our own pace, and be aware of when we may need to modify certain exercises for our own individual level of fitness. At the end, I felt like I had, had a fantastic workout and as strange as it seems to say, I am looking forward to Thursday morning’s class.
This is week 8 of the “Get Some Workout of Her Fitness Challenge” and I will continue training with Bryan on Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s, with cardio after each session. The bootcamp classes are on Tuesday and Thursday morning, and once my endurance builds up some more, I will in all likelihood add some cardio after the classes. I will also continue with my weekend visits to the gym in order to stay on track. Week 8 weigh in is tomorrow, so when I check in later this week, be sure to look for those numbers!
I continue to remain motivated and excited and Bryan can help you get to that place too! Don’t forget to check out Bryan’s website by clicking here.
As always, questions/comments/suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to hearing from you.

I would love to see pictures of Angela running down State Street at 6 AM. IT has to be quite the entertaining.
Angela,
This is our 3rd day of Bryan’s boot camp. He is turning up the heat on his workouts. You kept up great and the fact that you are on the cardio machines after our workout is amazing. Truly inspirational. You are doing great. Glad that you are part of the bootcamp.
Patrick
