Celebrate the Freedom of Language!
Join the Language Learning Institute for our 4th annual Bastille Day Celebration on July 11th 2009. Festivities start at 1:00pm and go through the night, ending at 9:00pm. The event takes place on pedestrian Jay Street in Schenectady, New York. Come dance in the streets with us. There will be crafts, activities and games for children and adults to enjoy.
The net profit of money collected from our crafts and activities will go to our Language Learning Institute Scholarship Fund. These scholarships will enable people of languages other than English to take our courses which will empower them to pursue their own “American Dream” using their talents to contribute to our society. The scholarship will also go to help children of all economic status to study language at an early age promoting world connectedness amongst our youth.
