7 pounds, 2 pant sizes and 3 and ½ overall inches in just 4 weeks – I am a happy person today. My motivation to continue this journey (Get Some Workout of Her -- 12 Week Fitness Challenge) is still very high and the support that I am receiving from many people around me is amazing.
Bryan and Stephanie would still like to see me increase my calories during the day – so I need to figure out how to do that. It seems so strange for someone to say that I need to eat more – but I guess you need to eat to lose. I am eating healthy things, but just not enough of them I guess. I think the key is going to be to spread things out a bit more. My favorite current meal is an egg white omelet with a ½ avocado, salsa and 75% fat free cheddar cheese. Do you have any favorite healthy meals or recipes? I would love to hear about them!
I still need some more music – so suggestions are still welcome on that – either leave them here or shoot me an email angelaa@talk1300.com .
If you would like to get in touch with Bryan – please check out his site www.gotosynergyfitness.com . The plan that he has set in place for me is working just as he had hoped and we couldn’t be more pleased.

Here are a few of my personal favorites. 1. Chelsea Dagger – The Fratellis
2. Vertigo – U2
3. Best of You – Foo Fighters
All are great workout songs. Let me know what you think.
Keep up the good work!
One of my favorite healty sides is basmati rice. Once you get a taste of it you can’t go back to regular and it’s a good carb. Protein bars are a good way to get extra calories and they are loaded with all the good things.
I like to wrap deboned chicken breasts or fish in foil with a bit of pepper and broth for steaming. I also add carrot sticks onion and fresh tomato. You can slso add any spices you like. They can be baked in the oven or on the BBQ. The chicken turns out nice and tender and the fish flaky. Check every 15 minutes until they are cooked. Fish cooks faster than chicken.
Dear Angela
I haven’t seen you since we met at the talk1300 christmas lunch at the Ripe Tomato. I wish you all the success in the world at becoming a loser (sounds funny doesn’t it). I am trying to change my eating habits myself, and find it very difficult, so I can appreciate the happiness you feel in noticing the inches melt away. Congrats on being a loser. I hope to be one too soon. Is there going to be a talk1300 summer get together soon?
Yum – thank you for food suggestions! I am going to try them this week!
