Today marked one week since I started training with Bryan and I have fantastic news to report. I have lost 2 pounds. I am exactly on target as to where Bryan had projected I would be, and I am very happy and even more motivated now. I am really enjoying the workout plan that Bryan has put together for me, when I am done with my workouts, I know that I have done something good for myself. I am actually looking forward to going to the gym each day!
On Tuesday I had an appointment with a nutritionist that Bryan recommended. Her name is Stephanie Kugler and she runs Healthy Balance Nutrition Counseling in Albany (518-482-3537 or skugler@nycap.rr.com). I learned a lot in just one session with her, but I will continue to meet with her as she will be following me and helping me through my journey. Stephanie and I talked about a number of things but a few things that I would like to mention, include the need to increase my caloric intake, increase my protein intake and decrease the amount of caffeine and processed foods that I consume. Stephanie did not give me a food plan and then send me on my way; instead she talked with me at length about my likes and dislikes and made suggestions as to how I could make my diet healthier. I will continue to update you on my visits with Stephanie.
