Well we know where you are according to the Daily Gazette & Kathleen Moore. Paul is having a field day with the Dwayne Johnson story. While on the job … Schenectady’s highest paid “copper” who, as the Gazette article reads, “spends most Tuesday early mornings in an apartment at the corner of Queen Philomena Blvd. and Sir Benjamin Way..” It was hard for Paul to get through the story without laughing. The Gazette article has Chief Mark Chaires chiming in with the classic “Here we go again…how dumb can you be… you know you have a GPS in your car…”. Vandenburgh’s “you can’t make this stuff up” played like a broken record today. What should be done…add your thoughts…!!

make him pay back all the ot monney back.and give him 90 off whith no pay and if he does it again fire him.
90 days off.
Police overtime is an issue in and of itself, which requires justification on a case by case basis.
But what is absolutely astounding here is how this particular practice — Tuesday mornings off, on the clock — was allowed to continue beyond ONE Tuesday. I think Dwayne Johnson’s OTJ records should be reviewed for as far back as necessary, in contemplation of restitution, and heads should roll departmentwide.
I believe there’s still a lot to be uncovered here — we just need someone to lift up the rocks.
Thirty-day suspension.
That’s as good a start as any.
